We worked so hard on our informational/research writing unit. We began by doing some non-fiction reading on each of our authors, illustrators and artists. Then we developed individual BIG questions to guide further research. We learned how to evaluate resources both online and in print. Our unit culminated in essays which we turned into 3D pop-up books to teach each other what we had learned.
